9 3 COMPONENT OF EMERITUS SYSTEM The Emeritus system consists of a series of components which are individually illustrated in the following pages: Spray System The machine has copper and AISI 304 stainless steel tubes. Water inlet is through a brass threaded pipe union from a 1-1/4” female adaptor. The spray ramps are supplied through motorized solenoid valves with 1” connectors with coil supply of 230 VAC. The control of the solenoid valves, for both supply and automatic draining, is managed directly by the regulation logic. The number of spray nozzles for standard plant is 4 per coil module. The number of spray ramps is 2 per unit side; each ramp, positioned at about the same height from the base, serves half a coil. In this way, the unit is divided into four zones which can be wetted independently. The nebulization nozzles are brass and are supplied at a mains pressure of 2 to 4 barg (maximum operating pressure 7 barg). Correct maintenance is crucial to ensuring the long-lasting operation of all the spray products (see action plan of maintenance and intervention reporting). Nozzles: check periodically that the nozzles function correctly, making sure that any impurities in the spray unit have not obstructed the water supply lines.
