16 Water supply pump and water collection tank The complete Emeritus system and also the versions with only adiabatic panels contain the following two components: water supply pump and flowmeter. Pump and flowmeter characteristics: • Pump Single-phase power supply: 220-240V 50Hz 2-pole Maximum liquid temperature: 40°C Insulation class: 130°C (B) Protection grade: IPX8 Free passage of solids in suspension: 10 mm Fitted with integrated floats and condensers, thermal motor protector and device for shallow suction (down to a depth of 3mm). Pump component materials: Resin PPO+20%GF, PA66+30%GF, NBR, AISI 304 and 316 stainless steel. Max static pressure: 11m Max water flow:225 l/min Nominal power: 0.55kW Absorbed power: 0.78kW Absorbed current: 3.47A Electric capacitor: 16 µF Supply line diameter: 1 ¼” • Water collection tank The tank is in AISI 304. Both water collection tank and pump are delivered separately. The installer is responible for their assembly Cleaning the water recovery tank • Cleaning the water recovery tank is recommended at the beginning of the season, after the lowering period and at the end of the season • Cleaning the tank, including the net filter positioned at the inlet of the water that runs off the coil must be carried out with jets of clean water or water with detergent compatible with the construction materials of the machine • For long periods of inactivity it is absolutely necessary to completely empty the plant; the system can be drained automatically.
